Understanding the composition and capacity of the volnteer sector today can be translated into the increased ability of an organization to deliver its mission. This workshop will share information and insights on volunteer demographics, motivation, attraction and retention, as well as the identification of the foundational and flexible elements of a volunteer program infrastructure. An examination of how this information can be translated into strategies, tactics and practices that enhance capacity through effective volunteer engagement and a dynamic volunteer program will take place.
