Artist Alley

The largest outdoor gallery in Huron County!

Formerly located behind Godfathers (1 Rattenbury St. East) in Clinton

What is Artist Alley?

Artist Alley was an outdoor community art gallery. The project launched in 2021 and was so successful that we re-installed the art for a second summer in 2022. It’s time to retire the project, but we welcome new ideas for community projects! Email cic@centralhuron.com.

In the alley you could find:

  • 180+ paintings created by local artists of all ages

  • Umbrella sky - perfect for Instagrammable photos!

  • Shaded picnic area to enjoy your lunch

  • Digital gallery map with photos and artist stories

Goodbye Artist Alley!

Artist Alley was taken down for the last time in November 2022 with the help of students from CHSS.

All of the artists were invited to take their paintings home if they were interested. Otherwise, the plywood canvases were donated to the construction classes at our local high schools, CHSS and St. Anne’s, for use in future construction projects. We couldn’t think of a more fitting end to this incredible community project. Thank you to everyone for your support during two amazing years.
