Employers from across Huron County who are experiencing labour shortages are invited to learn about hiring international workers during an upcoming event on Thursday, May 25 from 12-3pm at The White Carnation in Holmesville.

Hiring International Workers – Huron County is organized by Huron County Immigration Partnership, Huron Chamber of Commerce – Goderich, Central and North Huron, Community Futures Huron and WILL Employment Solutions to help local employers explore what’s involved in hiring international workers. Employers will learn how to access and be introduced to consultants at no cost.

Consultants specialize in:

  • Immigration law

  • Intercultural communication training

  • Diversity, equity and inclusion in workplaces

  • Relocating international staff to communities 

  • Inclusive onboarding strategies

  • Human resource solutions for international staff
